Possible Causes

Faulty start button on control panel, Child lock or pause mode active, Control PCB not responding to input, Loose UI ribbon cable

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the unit before accessing the control panel.

  • Check for lock modes: Consult the Baridi manual to ensure no child lock or pause function is engaged. Disable if active.
  • Power reset: Unplug for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect and try again.
  • Inspect control panel: Remove the front/top cover to access the display PCB. Check that the ribbon cable to the main board is firmly seated.
  • Test start button: Press the start button repeatedly and feel for a positive click. If it feels mushy or unresponsive, the keypad may be faulty and require replacement.
  • Replace UI board: If wiring is intact but the unit still does not respond, replace the user interface/display PCB.
