Display is dim, flickering, or segments are missing, but the unit still makes ice.

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the control panel.

• Check for moisture: Inspect the display area for condensation or water ingress. Dry thoroughly and address any leaks.
• Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect the display ribbon cable or harness to ensure a solid connection.
• Inspect for damage: Look for corrosion or burnt components on the display PCB.
• Replace display PCB: If the problem persists, replace the user interface/display board. If dimming is accompanied by other electrical issues, also consider replacing the main control PCB.
