Possible Causes
Blocked ice full sensor window, Misaligned infrared emitter/receiver, Failed ice full sensor board, Loose wiring to sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before working near sensors or moving parts.
- Empty the ice basket: Remove all ice and the basket. If the basket is overfilled, the sensor may falsely detect "full" and trigger E7.
- Clean sensor lenses: If your Baridi model uses an infrared ice full sensor, locate the small windows on each side of the ice chute or basket area. Clean both sides with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, then dry thoroughly.
- Check alignment: Ensure the emitter and receiver boards are firmly mounted and facing each other directly. Tighten any loose mounting screws.
- Inspect wiring: Access the sensor harness and verify that connectors are secure on both the sensor board and main PCB. Look for broken or pinched wires.
- Test operation: With the unit reassembled and powered, observe whether the machine now runs past the initial check. If E7 returns immediately, the ice full sensor module may need replacement.
