Possible Causes
Misadjusted ice thickness sensor, Stuck thickness probe, Control board not terminating freeze cycle, Very low ambient temperature
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before adjusting sensors.
- Defrost and clear jams: Turn off the unit, remove the basket, and allow thick ice to melt. Do not use sharp tools on the evaporator.
- Inspect thickness sensor: Ensure the probe is correctly positioned and not bent too far from the evaporator. Adjust according to the service manual.
- Change ice size setting: If your Baridi model has size options, select a smaller size to shorten freeze time.
- Relocate unit: Avoid operating the ice maker in very cold rooms (e.g., unheated garages in winter) which can affect sensor readings.
