Possible Causes

Low water level, Warm inlet water, Dirty evaporator surface, Incorrect ice thickness sensor setting

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug before cleaning internal components.

  • Check water level and quality: Fill the reservoir to the MAX line with cool, filtered water. Very warm or very hard water can affect cube size.
  • Clean evaporator: Wipe the evaporator fingers or plate with a soft cloth and a mixture of water and white vinegar to remove film or scale, then rinse.
  • Adjust thickness setting (if available): Some Baridi models allow selecting small/medium/large ice. Choose a larger size to increase freeze time.
  • Check ambient temperature: Ensure the unit is not in a hot environment that reduces freezing efficiency.
