Ice maker runs continuously without stopping, even when the basket is full of ice.

Possible Causes
Faulty ice full sensor, Misaligned sensor or switch, Broken sensor bracket, Control board not responding to full signal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before working near sensors.
- Verify sensor operation: With the unit running, gently block the IR sensor path or manually actuate the bin full switch (if mechanical) to see if the machine responds. Do this only if you can do so safely.
- Clean and realign sensor: Clean IR lenses and ensure the emitter and receiver face each other correctly. For switches, ensure the basket properly engages the actuator.
- Inspect wiring: Check the harness from the sensor to the control board for damage.
- Replace sensor: If the machine ignores the full condition, replace the ice full sensor or switch. If a new sensor does not resolve it, the control PCB may be faulty.
