How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.

Steps:

  • 1. Remove front control panel: Access the user interface board by removing the screws or clips holding the panel.
  • 2. Inspect harness: Check the ribbon cable or harness between the UI and main PCB for kinks, cuts, or burn marks. Reseat both ends.
  • 3. Clean connectors: If corrosion is present, gently clean contacts with electronic contact cleaner and allow to dry fully.
  • 4. Replace UI board: If the harness is good but the UI does not light or respond, replace the user interface board.
  • 5. Replace main PCB: If a known-good UI still cannot communicate, the main control PCB may need replacement.
