- 1. Clean bin: Wash the ice bin with warm water and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- 2. Clean reservoir and water path: Run a cleaning cycle with a food-safe ice machine cleaner, following Blomberg's instructions. Rinse until no cleaner remains.
- 3. Improve ventilation: Avoid storing strong-smelling chemicals or foods near the ice maker intake vents.
- 4. Replace filter: If equipped, replace the water filter to improve taste.
