Display shows ICE FULL or corresponding indicator light, machine stops making ice even though basket is not completely full.

Safety first: Switch off and unplug the ice maker before cleaning inside.

Steps:

• Empty and dry basket: Remove the ice basket and empty it. Wipe it dry to remove condensation that may reflect the sensor beam.
• Clean sensor lenses: Locate the small sensor windows on the side walls above the basket. Clean both transmitter and receiver lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Check alignment: Ensure the sensor housings are not loose or bent. They should face each other directly across the basket.
• Test operation: Reinstall the basket, plug in, and start a cycle. If ICE FULL appears immediately with an empty basket, the sensor may be faulty.

Persistent false ICE FULL indications usually require replacement of the ice full sensor assembly.
