Ice basket sensor seems to misread; machine keeps running and overfills or never stops making ice.

Safety first: Turn off and unplug before cleaning sensors.

Steps:

• Clean sensor lenses: Wipe the ice full sensor windows with a soft cloth to remove frost and dirt.
• Check alignment: Ensure both sides of the infrared sensor are facing each other correctly and not loose.
• Use original basket: Make sure you are using the original Bomann ice basket; some aftermarket baskets may not block the sensor correctly.

If the unit continues to overfill, the sensor or control board may be faulty and should be replaced.
