Control buttons are unresponsive or require very hard presses to work.

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the control panel.

• Dry the panel: If condensation or spills have reached the controls, allow the panel to dry completely.
• Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control fascia and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and the main PCB.
• Inspect keypad: Look for cracks or delamination of the membrane. If present, replace the entire user interface assembly.
• Test after reassembly: Restore power and verify that all buttons respond normally.
