Safety first: Unplug the ice maker and close the water supply valve immediately. Water on the floor can cause slipping hazards.

• Inspect hoses and connections: Remove panels and check all water hoses and clamps from the inlet valve to the trough and pump. Tighten clamps and replace any cracked hoses.
• Check water trough: Look for hairline cracks or misalignment that allow water to spill over. Replace the trough if damaged.
• Clear drain line: Detach the drain hose and flush it with water to remove blockages. Ensure it slopes downward without kinks.
• Test inlet valve: With water on and power off, observe if water seeps into the unit. If so, the inlet valve is leaking internally and must be replaced.
• Dry and monitor: Dry the base pan completely, then restore power and water and monitor a full cycle for any new leaks.
