Possible Causes
Unit not leveled, Loose mounting brackets, Uneven floor, Compressor or fan imbalance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before adjusting feet or brackets.
- Level the cabinet: Use a spirit level on top of the ice maker. Adjust the front and rear leveling feet until the unit is level side-to-side and front-to-back.
- Secure mounting: If built-in, check that mounting brackets are tight and that there is no gap allowing the cabinet to rattle.
- Check for contact points: Ensure the sides and top are not pressed tightly against cabinetry, which can amplify vibration.
- Inspect fans and compressor mounts: Verify that fan blades are balanced and that compressor mounting grommets are intact. Replace worn grommets or fan motors as needed.
