Internal light does not turn on when the door is opened, but the rest of the unit works.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before replacing any light components.

• Check door switch: Verify that the door switch operates correctly and is not stuck. Replace if it fails continuity tests.
• Inspect light module: Remove the light cover and check for visible damage or discoloration. Replace the LED module or bulb with a Brandt-approved part.
• Verify wiring: Ensure the light harness is securely connected at both the light and the control board.
• Control board: If the switch and light module are good but the light still does not work, the light driver on the main PCB may be faulty and require board replacement.
