Blocked ventilation grills, Unit installed in ambient temperature above specification, Failed temperature cutoff sensor, Dirty condenser coil
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before cleaning or moving it.
- Check installation location: Verify the Camry ice maker is not placed next to ovens, dishwashers, or in direct sunlight. Ambient temperature should be within the range specified in the user manual.
- Improve ventilation: Ensure at least the recommended clearance around all sides and the rear. Do not enclose the unit in a tight cabinet without airflow.
- Clean condenser coil: Remove the rear panel and gently vacuum or brush dust from the condenser coil and fan area.
- Inspect overheat sensor: Locate the thermal cutoff or overheat sensor near the compressor or condenser. Check that it is securely mounted and wiring is intact.
- Reset: Allow the unit to cool for 30–60 minutes unplugged, then reconnect and test. If E10 recurs in a proper environment, the overheat sensor or control board may be faulty.
