E18 displayed, unit may not start a cycle and internal lights or fans may still operate.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before adjusting switches.

• Check lid closure: Ensure the lid or door closes fully and is not obstructed by ice or foreign objects.
• Inspect switch actuator: Locate the small plunger or magnet that activates the lid switch. Verify it is intact and aligned with the switch body.
• Test switch movement: Press the switch by hand (with power disconnected) and feel for a positive click. If it feels loose or does not click, replacement is recommended.
• Check wiring: Follow the switch wires to the harness and reseat the connector.
• Test operation: Reassemble, plug in, and close the lid firmly. If E18 remains, the lid switch or control input circuit may be faulty.
