Possible Causes

Empty water tank, Water tank not seated correctly, Faulty water level sensor, Blocked water inlet from tank to reservoir

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn off and unplug the unit before removing the water tank to avoid spills near electrical parts.

Steps:

  • Fill the tank: Remove the water tank and fill with clean, potable water up to the MAX line. Avoid using sparkling or flavored water.
  • Reseat the tank: Reinstall the tank firmly so that any valve or magnet aligns with the internal level sensor. Push until it clicks or sits flush.
  • Check for airlocks: Some Caso models can trap air at the tank outlet. Gently tap the tank and the inlet area to release trapped air.
  • Inspect the inlet: Look for debris or scale at the tank outlet and the machine's inlet port. Clean with a soft brush and rinse.
  • Test operation: Plug the unit back in and start a cycle. If ADD persists despite a full tank, inspect the water level sensor / float switch and wiring as described in the E8 procedure.
