What you can do:

• Clean condenser and ensure airflow: Unplug the unit, remove the rear cover, and thoroughly clean the condenser coil and fan area. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
• Check ambient temperature: Move the ice maker to a cooler room if ambient temperature is above the manufacturer's recommended range (often 10–32°C).
• Observe frost pattern: With the cover removed and the unit running, a healthy system will show even frost across most of the evaporator. A small patch of frost near the capillary inlet and warm elsewhere suggests low refrigerant or a restriction.
• Power-cycle and monitor: After cleaning and relocating, unplug for 10 minutes, then restart and monitor ice production for 1–2 hours.
• Call a professional: If E11 persists and ice production remains poor despite good airflow and ambient conditions, contact a qualified refrigeration technician. They can check system pressures, locate leaks, and recharge or repair the sealed system.
