E7 error; water pump does not run or runs intermittently; ice-making cycle does not start.

Safety: Unplug the ice maker and drain water before working on the pump. Water and electricity are a dangerous combination.

Steps:

• Check water level: Ensure the reservoir is filled to the correct level. Some Caso models will show pump errors if the water level is too low.
• Listen for pump operation: Plug in the unit and start a cycle. After initial startup, you should hear the water circulation pump. If silent, unplug and proceed.
• Access the pump: Remove the lower front or rear panel to locate the pump attached to the water reservoir or tubing.
• Inspect for blockage: Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses. Check for mineral scale, slime, or debris blocking the impeller. Clean with warm water and a soft brush.
• Check wiring: Ensure the pump connector is firmly attached to the harness and free of corrosion.
• Bench test the pump (advanced): With the pump removed and using a safe low-voltage test (if applicable to your model) or mains-rated test cord (only if you are qualified), verify that the pump motor runs. Replace the pump if it does not spin or is noisy.
• Replace components: Install a new water circulation pump if faulty. If a known-good pump does not run and E7 persists, the main control board pump driver may be defective.
