Water is pooling inside the Electrolux ice bin or cabinet instead of draining properly.

Safety First: Disconnect power. Water and ice inside the bin can be heavy; remove in small batches.

• Clear internal drain: Remove the bin and locate the drain hole at the bottom of the cabinet or sump. Use warm (not boiling) water to melt ice and flush debris.
• Inspect drain hose routing: Ensure the hose slopes downward continuously and is not pinched behind the unit.
• Defrost frozen sections: If the drain line is frozen, allow the unit to thaw completely. Avoid using sharp tools that can puncture the hose.
• Check drain pump: For models with a pump, verify the pump runs and discharges water. Replace the pump if it hums but does not move water.
