Display and lights work, but pressing the ON/OFF or START button does nothing.

Steps:

• 1. Check for control lock: Some models may have a child lock or key combination. Refer to the user manual to ensure the control is not locked.
• 2. Dry the panel: If the panel was recently cleaned or splashed, let it dry for several hours unplugged.
• 3. Reseat keypad cable: Remove the top/front cover and reseat the ribbon cable between the keypad and main board.
• 4. Test buttons: With a multimeter, test continuity across the button contacts when pressed. Replace the keypad/control panel if switches are open.
