How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before removing the water tank (if removable).
Steps:
- 1. Fill water: Add water to the reservoir up to the MAX line. Use room-temperature, potable water.
- 2. Reseat water tank: For models with a detachable tank, remove and reinstall the tank firmly to ensure the valve opens properly.
- 3. Clear airlock: After refilling, tilt the unit slightly forward and back a few times (while unplugged) to help remove air bubbles from the pump intake.
- 4. Restart: Plug in and power on. If 'ADD' persists with a full tank, inspect and clean the water level sensor or float as described in the LO code fix.
