Possible Causes
Insufficient water in reservoir, Misreading water level sensor, Mineral buildup on level probes, Float stuck in low position
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before reaching into the reservoir.
Steps:
- 1. Refill reservoir: Fill the water tank to the indicated MAX line with clean, potable water. Do not overfill.
- 2. Reset: Plug the unit back in and press the power button to restart. If LO remains, continue.
- 3. Clean level sensor/float: Open the lid and locate the float or metal probes used to sense water level. Clean them with a soft cloth and a mixture of water and vinegar to remove scale.
- 4. Check float movement: Ensure the float moves freely up and down. If it is stuck, remove and clean the pivot area.
- 5. Inspect wiring: If accessible, verify the level sensor wiring harness is secure on the control board.
