Steps:

• 1. Clear visible ice: Remove ice from the bin and around the evaporator. Allow any remaining ice to melt.
• 2. Locate drain hole: Find the small drain opening at the bottom of the ice bin or evaporator tray. Use a soft brush or pipe cleaner to clear debris.
• 3. Flush with warm water: Pour a small amount of warm (not boiling) water into the bin to ensure it flows freely through the drain.
• 4. Check internal hose routing: Access the inside and verify the drain hose slopes downward without kinks or high spots that trap water.
• 5. Pump models: If equipped with a drain pump, listen for pump operation. If water does not evacuate and the pump is silent or just hums, replace the drain pump.
