• Reset the unit: Plug the ice maker back in, press the Power button to turn it off, wait 60 seconds, then turn it on again to see if E1 clears.
• Inspect water level sensor: On most G3 Ferrari countertop ice makers, the water level is detected by a float switch or electrode probes in the reservoir. With the unit unplugged, remove the top cover (if accessible) and gently clean the float or probes with a soft cloth and white vinegar to remove scale or slime.
• Check internal water hose: Look for pinched, kinked, or disconnected silicone hoses between the reservoir and the water pump. Straighten or reconnect as needed and ensure hose clamps are tight.
• Test water pump operation: With the cover back on, plug in and start an ice cycle. Listen for the small pump running when the unit begins to fill the evaporator tray. If it is silent and E1 returns, the pump may be defective and should be replaced.

When to call a technician: If cleaning the sensor and hoses and refilling the tank does not clear E1, the water level sensor or control PCB may be faulty and should be tested and replaced by a qualified technician.
