E1
Ice maker stops shortly after start, beeps, and displays E1 on the control panel.
Water Supply Fault / Low Water Level Detection Error
E2
Ice maker runs briefly, then stops and displays E2. No ice is produced.
Ice Full Sensor / Bin Sensor Error
E3
Display shows E3 and the ice maker stops mid-cycle. Evaporator may be iced over or not cold enough.
Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Thermistor Fault
E4
Unit displays E4 and stops. Compressor may not start or runs briefly then shuts off.
Compressor Overload / High Temperature Protection Error
E5
E5 appears on the display, ice production stops, and the unit may beep continuously.
Refrigeration System Fault / Low Cooling Efficiency
E6
Display shows E6, unit may power on but will not start an ice-making cycle.
Main Control Board / EEPROM Communication Error
E7
E7 error appears, unit may start but stops when ice reaches the sensor area, or may not detect ice at all.
Ice Thickness / Harvest Sensor Error
E8
E8 is displayed and the unit may not respond to button presses or may shut down unexpectedly.
Keypad / User Interface Panel Error
E9
E9 appears, unit may start filling but stops before freezing, or cycles erratically.
Water Flow / Circulation Error
H1
Display shows H1 or a high temperature warning; ice production is very slow or stops.
High Ambient / Condenser Overheat Warning
Symptom
"ADD WATER" indicator stays on even when the reservoir is full.
False Low Water Detection
Symptom
Buttons on the control panel are unresponsive or trigger the wrong function.
Keypad Malfunction
Symptom
Condenser fan does not run, but compressor becomes very hot.
Condenser Fan Failure
Symptom
Display is blank or segments are missing, but the unit still runs.
Display / LCD Fault
Symptom
Ice cubes are too large, stick together, or jam the ice shovel.
Oversized Ice / Harvest Jamming
Symptom
Ice maker does not power on at all; no lights or display, completely dead.
No Power / Input Power Failure
Symptom
Ice maker forms a solid block of ice on the evaporator instead of separate cubes.
Continuous Freezing / Harvest Failure
Symptom
Ice maker frequently stops mid-cycle and restarts on its own.
Intermittent Power or Overheat Shutdown
Symptom
Ice maker is very noisy during operation (grinding, rattling, or loud buzzing).
Excessive Noise / Mechanical Vibration
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice but the ice melts quickly and storage area is not cold.
Warm Ice Bin / No Ice Storage Cooling
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice very slowly compared to normal operation.
Reduced Ice Production Rate
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice, but cubes are very small or hollow.
Insufficient Ice Size / Poor Freezing Performance
Symptom
Ice maker runs but produces no ice; evaporator does not get cold.
No Cooling / Refrigeration Failure
Symptom
Ice maker shuts off shortly after starting and all lights flash.
General Protection / Self-Diagnostic Shutdown
Symptom
Ice maker stops and the "ICE FULL" indicator is on even though the basket is not full.
False Ice Full Detection
Symptom
Ice maker vibrates excessively and moves on the countertop during operation.
Severe Vibration / Unstable Mounting
Symptom
Ice shovel or ejector arm is stuck and does not move, causing jams.
Ice Shovel Jamming / Motor Stall
Symptom
Ice tastes bad or has an unpleasant odor.
Contaminated Ice / Taste and Odor Issue
Symptom
Strong plastic, chemical, or burnt smell coming from the ice maker during operation.
Odor / Possible Overheating or Contamination
Symptom
Unit powers on but will not start ice-making; pressing the start button has no effect.
Control Logic / Start Circuit Fault
Symptom
Unit runs continuously without cycling off, even when ice basket is full.
Continuous Operation / Sensor Bypass
Symptom
Unit trips the household circuit breaker or blows fuses when turned on.
Electrical Short / Overcurrent
Symptom
Visible frost or ice buildup on the outside of the evaporator tubing or nearby components.
Excessive Frost / Moisture Condensation
Symptom
Water accumulates inside the ice storage area, causing ice to melt quickly.
Internal Water Leak / Poor Drainage
Symptom
Water leaking from the bottom or sides of the ice maker onto the countertop.
External Water Leak
Symptom
Water pump runs loudly but no water reaches the evaporator tray.
Water Pump Cavitation / No Flow
