Steps:

• Manual cleaning: Wipe interior surfaces, reservoir, and evaporator with a cloth soaked in a 1:1 vinegar-water solution. Avoid abrasive pads.
• Run descaling cycle: Fill the reservoir with descaling solution recommended for coffee machines or ice makers (food-safe), run a full cycle, then discard ice and drain.
• Rinse thoroughly: Run at least one full tank of fresh water through the system, discarding all ice.

To reduce future buildup, use filtered or softened water where possible.
