Water accumulates inside the ice storage bin or under the ice basket, causing ice to clump together.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before cleaning internal channels.

Steps:

• Empty bin: Remove all ice and the ice basket. Wipe out standing water.
• Clean drain hole: Locate the small drain opening at the bottom of the bin area. Use a cotton swab or soft brush to clear debris and mineral deposits.
• Flush channel: Pour a small amount of warm water through the drain hole and confirm it returns to the reservoir.
• Correct basket position: Ensure the ice basket is properly seated so meltwater can flow through the designed openings.

If water still pools in the bin, the internal drain tube may be disconnected or kinked and should be inspected and reattached.
