How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before removing the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If condensation or spills have reached the control area, allow the unit to dry completely. Do not use heat guns directly on electronics.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control fascia and check the ribbon cable between the keypad and main PCB. Reseat both ends firmly.
- Check for damage: Look for cracked plastic buttons or worn membrane switches. Replace the Gram user interface panel if physically damaged.
- PCB fault: If the keypad is good but inputs are not recognized, the control PCB may need replacement.
