Possible Causes
Circulation pump impeller blocked, Pump motor failure, Spray bar or distribution tube clogged, Kinked internal water line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the ice maker and close the water supply.
- Access water circuit: Remove the front panel to reach the water distribution pump and spray bar or distribution tube above the evaporator.
- Clean spray bar: Remove the spray bar and flush it under warm water. Use a small brush or toothpick to clear mineral deposits from the holes.
- Inspect pump and hoses: Check the pump inlet screen for debris. Ensure hoses are not kinked or pinched.
- Test pump operation: After reassembly, briefly power the unit and observe whether water flows evenly over the evaporator. If the pump does not run or is noisy, test it for continuity and replace the Gram circulation pump if defective.
