Possible Causes
Water leak into base pan, Overflow float switch activated, Faulty leak sensor, Blocked internal drain causing overflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water supply immediately to prevent further leakage.
- Inspect base pan: Remove the lower front or rear panel and check for standing water in the base tray. Mop up water with towels.
- Locate overflow/leak sensor: Find the overflow float switch or electronic leak sensor in the base. Ensure it moves freely and is not stuck in the activated position.
- Check for source of leak: Inspect inlet hose connections, internal water lines, pump housing, and reservoir for cracks or loose clamps. Tighten clamps and replace damaged hoses.
- Clear internal drains: Flush internal drain channels with warm water to remove blockages that may cause overflow.
- Reset and test: Once dry and repaired, reset the sensor (if applicable), restore water and power, and monitor for further leaks. Replace the Gram overflow float switch or leak sensor if it remains triggered with a dry base.
