Ice cubes are too large or fused together in clumps.

Possible Causes
Ice thickness probe misadjusted, Thickness probe coated with scale, Harvest cycle too long due to sensor error, Water flow too high
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before adjusting sensors.
- Clean ice thickness probe: Gently clean the ice thickness probe with warm water and a mild descaler to remove mineral buildup.
- Adjust probe position: Refer to the Gram service manual and set the probe distance from the evaporator to the recommended value. Small adjustments can significantly change cube size.
- Check water flow rate: Ensure the inlet valve is not stuck partially open causing overfill. If water continuously drips over the evaporator between cycles, replace the water inlet valve.
- Run a test cycle: After adjustments, run several cycles and observe cube size. Readjust if necessary.
