Possible Causes
Debris in inlet valve seat, Valve coil stuck energized due to PCB fault, Incorrect water pressure, Worn valve diaphragm
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately close the external water supply and unplug the unit.
- Inspect inlet valve: Remove the rear panel and locate the water inlet valve. Disconnect the inlet hose and check for debris at the valve screen.
- Clean or replace valve: If debris is present, clean the screen and flush the valve. If water still seeps through when de‑energized, replace the valve.
- Check control board output: If the valve only overfills when the unit is powered, the PCB may be keeping the valve energized. Inspect and replace the main control PCB if necessary.
- Verify water pressure: Ensure supply pressure is within Gram's specified range to prevent valve weeping.
