Possible Causes
Faulty temperature sensor, Incorrect ambient conditions, Control board relay fault, Overheating due to dirty condenser
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before cleaning or testing sensors.
- Clean condenser coil: Remove dust and debris from the condenser to prevent overheating and high‑pressure trips.
- Check ambient temperature: Ensure the unit is not installed in an area outside the specified temperature range.
- Test temperature sensors: Measure resistance of the evaporator and cabinet NTC sensors and compare to Gram specifications. Replace any sensor that is out of range.
- Control board inspection: If sensors and condenser are fine, the compressor relay on the PCB may be failing, causing rapid cycling. Replace the main control PCB if necessary.
