Poor Internal Drainage
Water accumulates inside the ice bin or cabinet instead of draining away.

Possible Causes
Blocked internal drain channel, Drain hose installed with upward loop, Drain pump not operating, Ice blocking drain opening
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before clearing drains.
- Clear visible ice: Remove ice from around the drain opening in the bin or sump. Use warm (not hot) water to melt blockages.
- Flush internal drain: Pour warm water into the drain opening and observe flow at the drain hose outlet. If slow, disconnect the hose and flush it thoroughly.
- Check hose routing: Ensure the drain hose slopes continuously downward to the drain and does not have high loops that trap water.
- Verify drain pump operation: If your Gram model uses a drain pump, listen for it during the drain phase. Replace the drain pump if it does not run or pump effectively.
