Ice maker stops mid-cycle and the ice remains stuck on the evaporator grid.

Safety first: Unplug the unit before touching the evaporator or shovel.

• 1. Allow ice to melt: Leave the lid open and let the stuck ice melt naturally. Do not pry with metal tools.
• 2. Descale evaporator: Run a cleaning cycle with descaler or vinegar and wipe the evaporator to remove scale that can grip ice.
• 3. Check shovel movement: Observe a cycle to ensure the shovel moves through its full range. If not, inspect the motor and gearbox.
• 4. Verify water temperature: Very cold inlet water can make harvest harder; use room-temperature water if possible.
