Possible Causes
Misaligned ice full sensor, Sensor bracket bent, Excessive condensation on sensor window, Weak infrared emitter or receiver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before adjusting sensors.
- 1. Clean sensor windows: Wipe both sides of the bin sensor lenses with a dry, lint-free cloth.
- 2. Check bracket alignment: Gently bend the sensor brackets so the emitter and receiver face each other directly.
- 3. Reduce condensation: Avoid opening the lid excessively and use the unit in a less humid environment.
- 4. Test with empty bin: With the bin empty, power on and confirm that ICE FULL is not displayed. If it is, replace the sensor module.
Warning: Do not apply excessive force to sensor housings; they can crack easily.
