• 4. Check the low water switch: Under the reservoir, inspect the low water level switch or sensor. Ensure it is firmly mounted and the wiring is intact.
• 5. Test the switch: If mechanical, use a multimeter to verify that the switch changes state as the float moves. Replace the switch if it fails this test.
• 6. Reassemble and test: Refit the reservoir, plug in the unit, and start a cycle. The ADD_WATER message should clear once the sensor detects proper level.
