ADD_WATER
Display shows 'ADD WATER' or water droplet icon; unit beeps and stops making ice even though some water may be present.
Low Water Level Detection / False Empty Reservoir
E1
Ice maker stops shortly after starting; display shows E1 and unit will not enter ice-making cycle.
Ambient Temperature Sensor Failure
E10
E10 error; unit may beep and stop, often associated with abnormal internal temperature readings.
Cabinet / Internal Air Temperature Sensor Fault
E2
Display shows E2 and the ice maker stops mid-cycle; ice shovel or tray may be stuck in one position.
Ice Shovel Position Sensor / Micro Switch Fault
E3
E3 appears on the display; ice production stops and the unit may beep repeatedly.
Water Level Sensor / Float Switch Error
E4
Display shows E4; unit may start but quickly stops, often with no ice forming on the evaporator.
Evaporator Temperature Sensor Fault
E5
E5 error on display; compressor may not start or may shut off quickly; no ice is produced.
Compressor Overload / High Temperature Protection
E6
E6 displayed; ice maker may fill with water but the ice shovel or tray does not move through its cycle.
Ice Making Motor / Gear Motor Failure
E7
E7 appears on the display; unit may not detect when the ice basket is full or may stop prematurely.
Ice Full Sensor / Infrared Beam Fault
E8
E8 error; unit may not fill with water or may overfill and then stop with an alarm.
Water Pump / Flow Error
E9
E9 displayed; unit may power on but none of the functions (compressor, fan, pump) start.
Main Control Board Communication / Logic Fault
H1
Display shows H1 or 'HI' and the unit stops; internal temperature is reported as too high.
High Internal Temperature / Overheat Protection
ICE_FULL
Display shows 'ICE FULL' or a full-basket icon even when the ice basket is empty; unit will not start a new cycle.
False Ice Bin Full Detection
L1
Display shows L1 or 'LO'; unit may not start or may run erratically in a very cold environment.
Low Ambient Temperature Protection
Symptom
Buttons respond slowly or require very hard presses to register.
Worn Membrane Keypad / Contaminated Switches
Symptom
Display is dim, flickering, or segments are missing, but the unit still makes ice.
Display Module / LED Segment Failure
Symptom
High-pitched whine or rattling noise from the back of the unit during operation.
Condenser Fan or Compressor Vibration Noise
Symptom
Ice has an unusual taste or odor (plastic, chemical, or musty).
Contaminated Water Path / Odor Absorption
Symptom
Ice maker does not power on at all; no lights or display, completely dead.
No Power / Input Power Failure
Symptom
Ice maker leaks water onto the countertop or inside the cabinet.
Water Leak / Reservoir or Hose Leak
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice, but cubes are very small, hollow, or melt quickly.
Poor Ice Quality / Incomplete Freezing
Symptom
Ice maker runs but produces no ice at all; evaporator does not get cold.
Refrigeration System Failure
Symptom
Ice maker starts a cycle but stops after filling with water; no further actions occur.
Cycle Control / Program Hang
Symptom
Ice maker vibrates excessively or moves on the countertop during operation.
Excessive Vibration / Unstable Mounting
Symptom
Ice melts quickly in the storage basket and clumps together.
Poor Ice Storage Insulation / High Bin Temperature
Symptom
Loud grinding or clicking noise during ice ejection or when the shovel moves.
Ice Shovel Gear or Motor Noise
Symptom
Unit displays normal status but water does not flow to the evaporator; no ice forms though pump seems to run.
Blocked Water Distribution / Spray Bar
Symptom
Unit fills with water but then immediately drains or loses water from the reservoir.
Drain Plug / Reservoir Seal Failure
Symptom
Unit frequently shuts off mid-cycle and restarts or resets itself.
Intermittent Power / Overheat or Overcurrent Protection
Symptom
Unit frequently stops with ice stuck on the evaporator; shovel cannot push ice off.
Ice Sticking to Evaporator / Poor Release
Symptom
Unit overflows water inside, flooding the ice-making compartment.
Overfilling / Water Level Control Failure
Symptom
Unit powers on but will not start ice-making; pressing the ON/START button has no effect.
User Interface / Keypad Failure
Symptom
Unit runs continuously but produces ice very slowly compared to specifications.
Reduced Cooling Efficiency
Symptom
Unit trips the household circuit breaker or GFCI when starting.
Electrical Short or Ground Fault
Symptom
Water pump is very loud or makes a rattling noise during operation.
Noisy Circulation Pump
