• 3. Use filtered or softened water: This reduces mineral deposits that cause sticking.
• 4. Check sensor placement: Ensure the evaporator temperature sensor is properly attached so the control board can time the harvest correctly.

Note: If ice still sticks badly after thorough descaling, the control board’s timing or defrost function may be faulty and require replacement.
