Ice Full Sensor / Basket Position Fault
E7 error, unit stops, ice basket does not move or is detected as mispositioned.

Possible Causes
Blocked infrared ice-full sensor, Misaligned ice basket, Failed ice-full IR emitter/receiver pair, Loose sensor wiring to main control PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the ice maker before cleaning sensors or adjusting internal parts.
- 1. Check basket position: Remove and reseat the ice collection basket fully into its guides. Ensure it is not tilted or sitting on top of ice cubes.
- 2. Clean ice-full sensors: Locate the infrared ice-full sensor pair (usually a small window or lens on each side of the ice chute). Clean both sides gently with a soft, damp cloth to remove frost, mineral deposits, or grease. Dry thoroughly.
- 3. Clear excess ice: If the basket is overfilled, empty it and restart the machine. Overfilled baskets can block the sensor beam and trigger E7.
- 4. Inspect sensor wiring: If accessible, check the wiring from the IR sensors to the main control PCB for loose connectors or damage.
- 5. Test operation: Plug the unit back in and start a cycle. Observe whether the error reappears when the first batch of ice is produced.
- 6. Replace sensor if needed: If E7 persists even with a clean, empty basket, replace the ice-full infrared sensor assembly. This may be a combined emitter/receiver harness that plugs into the PCB.
