Possible Causes
Loose or damaged drain plug, Cracked water reservoir, Disconnected internal water hose, Overfilled reservoir
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and mop up any spilled water to prevent slipping or electrical hazards.
- 1. Check drain plug: Inspect the drain plug and gasket at the rear or bottom. Ensure it is fully inserted and tightened. Replace the gasket if perished or cracked.
- 2. Inspect reservoir: Remove the water reservoir and check for cracks or splits, especially around seams and corners. Replace the reservoir if damaged.
- 3. Check fill level: Do not fill above the MAX line. Overfilling can cause overflow during operation.
- 4. Internal hose inspection: Remove the side or bottom panel and inspect the silicone water hoses from the reservoir to the pump and from pump to evaporator. Refit any loose hoses and secure with hose clips.
- 5. Test for leaks: Refill with water and run a short cycle while observing the internal hoses and joints for drips.
