• 2. Clean drain channel: Locate the internal drain channel under the evaporator. Use a soft brush or pipe cleaner to remove slime, scale, or debris.
• 3. Check tray alignment: Ensure the ice tray is correctly aligned so that meltwater flows into the drain, not over the sides.
• 4. Defrost frozen drain: If the drain outlet is iced over, allow the unit to sit unplugged until all ice melts. Wipe dry before restarting.
• 5. Control ambient heat: Move the unit away from heat sources to reduce rapid melting of stored ice.
