Possible Causes

Empty water reservoir, Misreading water level sensor, Float stuck in low position, Reservoir not seated correctly on sensor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the unit off before removing the reservoir or internal components.

Steps to clear ADD WATER:

  • Refill reservoir: Fill the water tank to the indicated MAX line using clean, potable water. Avoid overfilling.
  • Check reservoir seating: Ensure the tank is fully seated on its base and any magnetic or mechanical level sensor is properly engaged.
  • Inspect float: Look inside the reservoir for a small float. Make sure it moves freely and is not stuck by scale or debris.
  • Clean sensor area: Wipe away mineral buildup around the water level sensor or float using a vinegar solution.
  • Power reset: Turn the unit off, wait 1–2 minutes, then turn it back on to see if the indicator clears.

Note: If the reservoir is full and the message persists, the water level sensor or float switch may need replacement.
