Ice maker runs but produces no ice at all; evaporator plate does not get cold.

Safety first: Unplug the ProfiCook ice maker before moving or cleaning it. Do not attempt to open sealed refrigeration components.

• Check evaporator temperature: After 10–15 minutes of operation, carefully touch near (not directly on) the evaporator fingers or plate. If they remain at room temperature, cooling is not occurring.
• Listen to compressor: Verify if the compressor at the rear is running (steady hum) or silent/clicking.
• Clean condenser vents: Vacuum or brush dust from the rear/side vents to improve airflow.
• Allow adequate clearance: Ensure at least 10–15 cm of space around the unit for ventilation.
• If still no cooling: A sealed system fault (refrigerant leak, compressor failure) is likely. This requires specialized tools and must be handled by a certified refrigeration technician.
