Loud rattling or vibrating noise during operation

Safety: Unplug the unit before tightening or adjusting components.

Steps to reduce noise:

• Level the unit: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface. Adjust any leveling feet if provided, or use a thin mat to dampen vibration.
• Check for external contact: Ensure the unit is not touching walls or other appliances that can amplify vibration.
• Inspect internal mounts: Remove the rear panel and check that the compressor mounting bolts and rubber grommets are secure. Tighten gently if loose.
• Check fan clearance: Spin the condenser fan by hand to ensure it does not contact wires or the shroud. Reposition any wiring away from the blades.
• Inspect ice shovel/tray: Open the lid and observe the ice shovel and tray during operation. Tighten any loose screws and ensure parts are not rubbing against the housing.
