Water appears inside the ice storage area or under the ice basket

Possible Causes
Ice melting faster than draining back to reservoir, Blocked internal return drain, Ice basket not seated correctly, Lid left open causing condensation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the ice maker before cleaning internal areas.
Steps to manage internal water:
- Seat basket correctly: Ensure the ice basket is properly positioned so that meltwater can drain through the designed holes back into the reservoir.
- Clean return drains: Inspect the base under the basket for drain holes. Clear any blockages with a soft brush or cotton swab.
- Control lid opening: Keep the lid closed as much as possible to reduce warm, moist air entering and condensing inside.
- Regularly empty ice: Transfer ice to a freezer if you are not using it immediately to reduce meltwater accumulation.
