Water appears inside the ice storage area or under the ice basket

Safety: Unplug the ice maker before cleaning internal areas.

Steps to manage internal water:

• Seat basket correctly: Ensure the ice basket is properly positioned so that meltwater can drain through the designed holes back into the reservoir.
• Clean return drains: Inspect the base under the basket for drain holes. Clear any blockages with a soft brush or cotton swab.
• Control lid opening: Keep the lid closed as much as possible to reduce warm, moist air entering and condensing inside.
• Regularly empty ice: Transfer ice to a freezer if you are not using it immediately to reduce meltwater accumulation.
