Possible Causes
Faulty evaporator temperature sensor, Incorrect cycle timing on main PCB, High water temperature, Weak compressor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing sensors or the control board.
Steps:
- Use cooler water: Fill the tank with cool (not warm) water to reduce freeze time.
- Ambient temperature: Ensure the unit is not in a hot environment.
- Sensor replacement: If the unit consistently harvests too early, replace the evaporator NTC sensor which signals when ice is ready.
- Control board: If a new sensor does not help, the main control board may be mis-timed and require replacement.
