ADD WATER
Display shows “ADD WATER” or water droplet icon; unit beeps and will not start ice production.
Low water level detection
E1
Ice maker stops shortly after start, beeps, and displays E1 on the control panel.
Ambient / internal temperature sensor fault
E2
Unit powers on but stops mid-cycle and shows E2 on the display, sometimes accompanied by continuous beeping.
Water level sensor / float switch fault
E3
Ice maker runs briefly, then stops and displays E3. Ice production does not start.
Ice full sensor / infrared sensor fault
E4
Display shows E4 and the compressor does not start, or unit shuts down shortly after starting.
Refrigeration system / evaporator temperature protection fault
E5
Unit displays E5 and stops making ice; compressor may attempt to start repeatedly.
Compressor start / overload protection fault
E6
Display shows E6, unit may power on but none of the buttons respond correctly or cycles do not start.
Control panel / communication fault
ICE FULL
Display shows “ICE FULL” or a full-basket icon even when the ice basket is empty; unit will not start a new cycle.
False ice bin full detection
Symptom
Display segments are missing or unreadable, but the unit still makes ice.
Partial display failure
Symptom
Display works but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.
Keypad / touch control failure
Symptom
Evaporator plate becomes a solid block of ice and the ice shovel cannot move.
Defrost / harvest failure
Symptom
Fan does not run; unit overheats and ice production is poor or stops.
Condenser fan failure
Symptom
Ice cubes are cloudy or white instead of clear.
High mineral content / aerated ice
Symptom
Ice cubes have a strong plastic, chemical, or musty taste or odor.
Contaminated water path / odor transfer
Symptom
Ice cubes stick together in large clumps in the basket.
Ice clumping / melting in storage bin
Symptom
Ice maker does not power on at all; no lights or display when plugged in.
No power / primary power supply failure
Symptom
Ice maker exterior becomes unusually hot to the touch, especially on the sides or top.
Overheating cabinet
Symptom
Ice maker leaks water onto the countertop or inside the cabinet.
Water leakage from reservoir or internal tubing
Symptom
Ice maker produces ice very slowly compared to normal operation.
Extended freeze time / reduced capacity
Symptom
Ice maker runs but produces very small, hollow, or misshapen ice bullets.
Poor ice formation / improper freeze cycle
Symptom
Ice maker runs continuously and does not stop even when the ice basket is full.
Ice level detection failure (no shutoff)
Symptom
Ice maker starts a cycle but stops after a few minutes without producing ice; no error code displayed.
Premature cycle termination
Symptom
Loud grinding or rattling noise during ice making cycles.
Mechanical drive or fan noise
Symptom
Unit displays lights but the compressor never starts; only the fan and pump run.
Compressor not starting
Symptom
Unit emits a burning smell during operation.
Overheating electrical component
Symptom
Unit frequently shows low water or ice full messages even when conditions are normal (intermittent false alerts).
Intermittent sensor misread
Symptom
Unit makes a high-pitched whine or buzzing noise from the control area.
Electrical coil or SMPS noise
Symptom
Unit powers on, fans run, but no ice is produced and the evaporator plate does not get cold.
No cooling / sealed system failure
Symptom
Unit shuts off unexpectedly and loses all settings; must be restarted manually.
Random power loss / internal power supply instability
Symptom
Unit trips the household circuit breaker or RCD when plugged in or when the compressor starts.
Electrical short or ground fault
Symptom
Unit vibrates excessively or moves on the countertop during operation.
Excessive vibration / poor leveling
Symptom
Water does not drain from the unit during cleaning; water remains inside.
Drain blockage
Symptom
Water pump makes a humming noise but no water reaches the evaporator tray.
Water circulation failure
Symptom
Water remains in the ice tray and does not freeze completely before harvest.
Premature harvest / insufficient freeze
