Ice maker runs but water does not flow over the evaporator; no water sound, no ice formation.

Safety first: Unplug the unit and empty the reservoir before accessing the pump.

• Refill and tilt: Refill the reservoir and gently tilt the unit forward and backward to help purge air from the pump.
• Clean inlet filter: Locate and clean the small mesh filter at the pump inlet or reservoir outlet.
• Check hoses: Inspect water hoses for kinks or blockages. Straighten or replace as needed.
• Test pump: With covers removed and the unit briefly powered (only if you are experienced and cautious), observe whether the pump runs and water flows. If the pump is silent and receives power, it is likely defective.
• Replace pump: Install a new Severin circulation pump if the original does not operate or is very noisy with no flow.
